Bringing the Community Together

The event was designed to celebrate everything that makes Grange Park a great place to live while creating opportunities for residents to connect with one another and with the organisations working to improve the area.

Families enjoyed a wide range of free activities, live entertainment and community stalls, creating a welcoming atmosphere for people of all ages. Local organisations were on hand to showcase their services, answer questions and introduce residents to the support available within the community.

More importantly, the event gave Pride in Place the opportunity to listen.

Throughout the day, residents were encouraged to share their ideas, experiences and aspirations for Grange Park and Layton. These conversations are helping shape future Pride in Place projects, ensuring local investment reflects the priorities of the people who know the area best.

The success of the event demonstrated the strength, pride and sense of community that already exists across Grange Park. It also reinforced the importance of bringing people together to celebrate achievements, build new connections and help shape the future of the neighbourhood.
