On Wednesday 16 September 2026, we spent time at @TheGrange speaking directly with local residents about what matters most to them and what they would like to see from the £20 million Pride in Place investment.
Over bacon butties and brews, we had lots of open conversations about the things people love about Grange Park, the challenges they are facing, what needs improving and the ideas they would like to see explored in the future. Residents spoke about everything from community spaces, parks, roads and safety to support for families, young people, jobs, skills and the importance of having places where people can come together.
A massive thank you to everyone who came along, grabbed a butty and had a chat with us. The event was another important part of our wider Community Voices work, helping us build a clearer picture of what local people want for the future of Grange Park.
Couldn’t make it? We still want to hear from you. What do you love about Grange Park and Layton? What needs improving? What would you like to see this investment help make happen? Share your ideas through our survey, and keep an eye out for more opportunities to have your say.
